Junior chefs will explore summer cooking with fun and easy BBQ recipes, picnic-friendly foods, and homemade frozen treats. They’ll learn barbeque sauces, grilled chicken skewers, pasta salads, popsicles and ice creams. The Friday evening family barbeque will be our festive finale.
Introduction of our instructor: I’m Chef Amelie Rousseau. I have been a Culinary Arts instructor for a decade, and have taught thousands of people how to use a knife, bake bread, roll sushi and make ice cream. After a week in my class, your child will leave full of inspiration and the confidence to get creative in the kitchen. I have a Masters in holistic nutrition and I know that food is our best medicine.
When I’m not teaching, I am exploring the ancient cities of Egypt and Peru, sipping coffee in Rome and eating street tacos in Mexico. I can’t wait to cook, create, and learn with you and your family!
